How do I get rid of spiders running around in my kitchen cabinets?
I've found those black ones about the size of a nickel/quarter that run super fast inside my kitchen drawers, and a dime size light brown one, yuck! I also found another black one speeding around the house. I hate spiders! I just had pest control spray the house a week ago for other bugs. Shouldn't the spiders be gone, too?
Don, I see your point, however, I'm arachnophobic, and I'd rather deal with the other insects than these. These terrify me. I've been finding them a lot lately. I know it's been hot, humid weather which brings out the bugs, but yuck -- I'm a pretty clean person, the house is clean, kitchen's clean. They're attacking the kitchen now. I stick my hand in a drawer and a few go running about!
Spiders actually taste with their feet, and as you know they have 8 of them. That makes repellents more interesting. Spiders do not like citrus, lemon, orange and lime.
Mixing 1 tablespoon of real, has to be real, essential oil, lemon, orange or lime to 1 quart of water to make a spray can repel spiders.
cats can not be around this at all.
pets should not be around this.
This can stain some fabrics.
Lemon Pledge polish repels spiders.
Glue traps made for spiders placed out where they crawl will trap spiders. Sprays do not kill spiders.
Some spider sacs with a bunch of eggs in them might be stuck under the drawers. They are tiny white cotton looking deals.
